VIBRATION & PACEMAKERS

Pacemaker is something there is very little research on.  We assume that all implants can be vulnerable with vibration because the movement may dislodge or move the implant, or cause the implant other problems.  It is similar to the pregnancy issue – because the potential problems can be fatal, there are no tests to see if people with pacemakers are safe on the machine and therefore we do NOT recommend them.  It is a better safe than sorry thing, particularly when we are risking people’s lives.
