Get Off The Couch

Get moving is the message from this research. U.S. researchers tracked 97,000 women for seven years. They discovered that women who either walked or biked to work for a period of six years were 20 percent less likely to be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer than those who walked or biked to work for just one year.
In another study it was found that women who sat for nine hours a day were more likely to develop uterine cancer. This is not an unexpected finding as its been known for years that obesity is a risk factor for uterine malignancy. So get off the couch is always a good message for maintaining health for both sexes.
